many circular turns of insulated copper wire wrapped in the shape of a cylinder
like bar magnet :
solenoid has same magnetic field lines like bar magnet

HEYA !!!
solenoid is a type of temporary magnet.
when the current is flow through a circular number of turns IT Act as magnet.
a solenoid is based on Electromagnet property.
solenoid behaves like a bar magnet because bypassing the electricity it acquire the property of bar magnet.
solenoid after passing the electricity it does the same function as the bar magnet do.
