Thanks a lot to ask me for help... I'll try to do best.

The explanation may be large...plz read once...i hope this may help you.

Explanation:

SOUND RANGING:

  • Sound ranging may be defined as that "A method of determining the distance between a point and other a position of a sound source by measuring the time lapse between the origin of the sound and its arrival at the point" is called sound ranging.

For example:

  • SONAR is the best example of SOUND RANGING.
  • SONAR is stand for SOund Navigation And Ranging.

Explain, how it works..

  • The SONAR illustrates how a ship on the ocean utilizes the reflecting properties of sound waves to determine the depth of the ocean. from which a deep sound wave is transmitted and bounces off the seabed. And then time lapse between sending and receiving the sound can be measured, the distance from the ship to the bottom of the ocean can be determined. this is happens just because of we known the speed of sound.

if you satisfy, plz give a response.
