Speciation :-

• It is a process by which any new species come to existance , from it's parents .

Like as , ancestors were having some traits and the progeny has some special new traits which seperates it from their ancestors and makes it a new species .

So , it is Speciation .

Factors :-

• It may be caused due to Generation gap . Mendel showed that if the traits are crossed randomly then it may create a special trait , as like the effect of ancestors gets reduced and it will be sometime when the effect will be removed completely .

Here the trait of tallness is not like the anceator because it contains one tall and one short allele . So , it may be possible that this trait if ancestors will end anyday .


• It may be due to natural selection . No one has control over which type of allele will go in progeny . So , any charater can go there and lead to new character .

For example :- In case of blood group .

• It may take place due to environmental factor . Like as suppose two species are there of green ant and red ant and they are living on green leaf where red ants are more . But a crow comes and eats all red ants and green ants gets left . They got benefit of their green colour which hides them in leaf .

So , now only species of green ants will be left .

• Genetic drift :- This drifting of genes will also cause the rise to new species . As there is alternating / drifting in allele / set of information .
