Speciation is an evolutionary process which involves formation of one or more species from an existing species.

The factors affecting speciation are -

1.Geographical Isolation : When the two sub-population of a species (population of the same species having 2 different traits) get separated due to geographical reasons, they reproduce within the sub-population and lead to the formation of new species.

2.Genetic Drift : When due to some accidental change, a trait becomes common within a population, it's called Genetic Drift. The organisms keep reproducing to form new species.

3.Natural Selection : The trait that provides survival advantages becomes common among a population.

Hope this helps you friend :)
