Hey there!

♦ Specific Heat is defined as the amount of heat energy required to change temp. of 1 kg substance at 1°C.

♦ It's SI unit is J/kgk (joule per kilogram kelvin).

♦ Its formula:
=> Q = mcФ
where, m = mass
            c = Specific heat capacity
            Ф = Temp. change

Hope it helps you!

Answer:

itdescribes how much heat must be added to a unit of mass of a given substance to raise its temperature by one degree Celsius. The units of specific heat capacity are J/(kg °C) or equivalently J/(kg K). The heat capacity and the specific heat are related by C=cm or c=C/m.
