What is the difference b/w g and G ?

g is the force of gravity acting on a body. it is not constant and changes from place to place,whereas G is the gravitational constant and does not change from place to place

g means gravity where as G means Gravitational Constant. G is independent of M1,M2 and r whereas g depends on M1, M2 and r.......... ( M1=mass 1, M2 = mass 2, r = length )...
