The sperm cell is the male sex cell. It is formed in the testes. The sperm and the ova/egg cell fuses to form the zygote.

sperm cells are the male gametes they are smaller than most other cells they have only a tiny amount of cytoplasm they have a long tail so that they can swim they have a nucleus containing 23 chromosomes does tell which produce swimming movements there is a cell surface membrane and small amount of cytoplasm
