Plants of lower order such as mosses ferns moulds etc .. reproduce by spore formation.   A spore  is a tiny spherical unicellular body protected by thick wall  . It grows into new plant when conditions are favourable .

1)Spores are formed under favourable conditions.

2)They grow on top of erect hypae (which is a long stem like structure).

3)Spores are embedded in a sac like structure called sporangia.

4)These spores are released in air under favourable conditions and same process goes on.
