Simple squamous epithelia are found in capillaries, alveoli, glomeruli, outer layer of skin and other tissues where rapid diffusion is required.

squamous epithelial tissue are very important tissue in our body.they are protective tissues and are of irregular shape
if the epithelial tissue are made up of single squamous epithelial layer they are called simple squamous epithelial tissue where as if they are continuous in layer they are called stratified squamous epithelial
we find simple squamous epithelial tissue in the inner lining of mouth and lung alveoli and we find stratified in the skin
