Early in the formation of fetus the embryo contain versatile genetic material know as stem cell. these nondiffrentiated cells gradually produce both other stem cells and tissues that forms the rest of the body

here is some interesting stuff

stem cell cultivated from an early embryo called blastocyst could replace cells damaged by heart disease, diabetes, Parkinson's disease or other illnesses.

but research has rised some ethical concern because embryo is destroyed in the process of extracting stem cells

but we have alternative too

we use cells from adult and stem cells from embilical cord of newborn . these are used to treat blood diseases such as blood cancer

→ Stem cell therapy, also known as regenerative medicine, promotes the repair response of diseased, dysfunctional or injured tissue using stem cells or their derivatives.

→It is the next chapter in organ transplantation and uses cells instead of donor organs, which are limited in supply.
