What is stomata ? How does it help the plant in photosynthesis and why is the leaf called the kitchen of the plant.?

is a pore, found in the epidermis of leaves, stems, and other organs, that facilitates gas exchange. The pore is bordered by a pair of specialized parenchyma cells known as guard cells that are responsible for regulating the size of the stomatal opening.its provide food to the plant through the sunlight that why it is also known as kitchen of the plant.
