☆Acids contain H+ ions which are known as Hydroxine ions.

☆ The pH of acids is below 7 and they are very strong.

☆ The bases contain OH- ions which are called as Hydroxide ions.

☆ The strength of an acid and bases is defined as Strong electrolytes are completely dissociated into ions in water. The acid or base molecule does not exist in aqueous solution, only ions. Weak electrolytes are incompletely dissociated.
