Answer:

string theory is a theoretical framework in which the point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects called strings. String theory describes how these strings propagate through space and interact with each other.

String is based on vibrations like waves and many more this theory connect the whole universe from black hole to a fundamental partial of the universe. It's says our universe is made up of with strings this theory need 11 dimensions 10 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time because strings are one dimensional vibrations and just because of one dimensional strings we can prove four fundamental forces of nature because string theory says only one vibration is their and it's interact with each other and create a second wave similarly what happened if we say their is only one wave? and just because of one wave we knows many waves because all the other waves are created by one dimensional strings so similarly our whole universe is also made up of the same strings.

But there is one problem the problem is today we can prove it only theoretically and mathematically but not practically if we can prove it practically we can understand all the universe and dark matter and dark energy as well as what is black hole? and what is in the black hole?

so it's about the string field theory

I hope it's helpful to you
