it is a heterogeneous mixture..

particles are larger 10000 NM then DM..

does not show any tyndall effect..

heterogeneous mixture solid are disposed in a liquid is called suspension..

is suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which the solute particles do not dissolve but remain suspended through the bulk of medium..

particles of suspension are visible to the naked eyes..

A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which solid particles have size greater than hundred nm distributed in a fluid without dissolving in it.

A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture.

The size of suspended particles is greater than hundred nm .

The suspended particles can be seen with naked eyes or under a simple microscope.

When left undisturbed for sometime the suspended particle settle on the bottom of the container under the influence of gravity.

Suspended particles can be separated from the fluid medium by decantation and filtration.

Example - Muddy water.
