Annelida is a rare species which can perform both type of reproduction. It can perform both sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction.

Polychaete and oligochaete species can reproduce both sexually and asexually which consists of annelida whereas leeches can only reproduce sexually. Asexual reproduction occours by the process of budding or fusion and not by the process of formation of gametes in the organism which is the annelida species.
