suspension ---
the particles of matter which don't dissolve in liquid and keep moving. The size of partices is less than 100nm.
properties of suspension ---
1. the particles of matter don't dissolve in liquid.
2. the size is less than 100nm.
3. the particles of suspension cannot be seen by naked eyes.
4. the particles can be seen by the help of microscope.
5. the size of particles are enough to pass a beam of light through it. thus they show the property of tyndall effect. but not all of them show this property.

A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which solid particles have size greater than hundred nm distributed in a fluid without dissolving in it.
A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture.
The size of suspended particles is greater than hundred nm .
The suspended particles can be seen with naked eyes or under a simple microscope.
When left undisturbed for sometime the suspended particle settle on the bottom of the container under the influence of gravity.
Suspended particles can be separated from the fluid medium by decantation and filtration.
Example - Muddy water.
