Synapse => The point of contact between tge terminal branches of axon of one neuron with the dendrite of another neuron is called synapse.
When the nerve impulses reaches the synapse at the end of the neuron,it cannot passes directly to the next one. This chemical crosses the synapse and reaches the tip of the dendrite where it again produces electrical impulse and then this impulse travel along neuron.

hello friend,

i). All the information about our surroundings is collected by the ends or dendrites of the neuron.

ii). The chemical process begins at those ends and electric impulse are generated which are conducted from the dendrites to the cell body, from the cell body to the axon and from the axon to its terminal.

iii). These impulses are then transferred from this nerve cell to the next. Now this impulse that reaches the terminal of an axon, stimulate the nerve cells to secrete certain chemicals.

iv). These chemicals pass through a minute space, called the Synapse, between two adjacent neurons and generate the impulse in the dendrites of the neuron.

v). In this way, impulses are finally conveyed by the nerve cells to muscle cells or glands.

I hope it will helps you...

Maahimalik: Thankyou
