The pressure of arteries during contraction is called systolic pressure

and the pressure of arteries during relaxation is called diastolic pressure.

Normal systolic pressure:120mmHG

Normal diastolic pressure: 80mmHG

SYSTOLIC PRESSURE- The top numbers or measurements of the pressure measuring device measures the contraction of arteries of our heart then it is refereed to systolic pressure.

DIASTOLIC PRESSURE:-The bottom number or measurements of the  blood pressure measuring device measures that when the heart muscle is between beats then it is refereed as  diastolic pressure.
