what is Thallophyta and Bryophyta

Thallophyta and Brophyta both are dividions plant Kingdom which comes under cryptogams.

These are not flowering plants.

Thallophyta have not differentiated body and have not vascular tissues while Brophyta have differentiate body structures but not vascular tissues.

THALLOPHYTA: plants dont have well differentiated body design falls in this group. The plants in this group are commonly called algae. These plants are predominately aquatic. example: spirogyra, ulothrix , chara etc.

BRYOPHYTA: These are called the amphibians of the plant kingdom. The plant body is commonly differentiated to form stem and leaf like structures. However there is no specialized   tissue for the conduction of water and other substances from one part of the plant body to another. Examples:marchantia
