Given : nth term  of a  sequence is aₙ = (-1)ⁿ - 12n

To Find : 6th term of the sequence

Solution:

nth term  of a  sequence is

aₙ = (-1)ⁿ - 12n

to find 6th term of the sequence

just substitute n = 6

a₆= (-1)⁶ - 12(6)

(-1)⁶  = 1

12(6) = 72

=> a₆= 1 - 72

=> a₆=  - 71

Hence 6th term of the sequence is -71
