What is the accerleration of a car that speeds up from 20.7 m/s to 38.9m/s in 22.8 seconds?

Acceleration = (38.9-20.7)/22.8
= ( 18.2 / 22.8 ) metre per second square
= 0.8 metre per second square (approx.)

u=20.7 m/s
v=38.9 m/s
t=22.8s

v = u+at
38.9 = 20.7+a(22.8)
22.8a = 18.2
a = 0.79 m/s²
