when aqueous solution of bromine or bromine water is added to aniline ( phenylamine) at room temperature, decolourisation of the aqueous bromine occurs and a $\textbf{white precipitate}$ of 2, 4, -6-tribromoaniline ( $C_6H_4Br_3N$) is obtained.

reaction is shown in figure,
here one mole of aniline reacts with three mole of aqueous bromine at room temperature and gives one mole of 2, 4, 6- tribromoaniline and three mole of hydrogen bromide.
