Na reacts with cold water and forms NaOH

rate if reaction is fast

K will also react similar to Na forming KOH

Mg does not react with cold water however with steam or hot water to give Mg(OH)2

Al reacts does not reactwith any form of water or steam because it forms an oxide coating around itself
