Petrol diesel and kerosene are mixture of natural hydrocarbon in the form of gas liquid or solid from rock..
by refining the petroleum, we can extract petrol diesel & kerosene, it is found in the rock of the earth crust is in acrude from, it is a mixture of gaseous liquid and solid hydrocarbons. some of the hydrocarbon and most volatile and some are the least volatile .thus; various hydrocarbon present in the petroleum are to be separated and purified.
the process of separating and purifying the various hydrocarbon the constituents of petroleum by fractional distillation taking into account the different boiling points is called refining of Petroleum
and the product of petroleum and petroleum gas petrol kerosene and diesel oil lubricant oil etc.....
