By sharing a workbook you can keep track of the changes other people make and accept or reject those changes as desired.
The steps to share an Excel workbook:
The following are the steps to share a workbook-
- Open the workbook you want to share.
- Go to changes group on review tab and click share workbook option.
- Share workbook dialog box appears.
- On the editing tab, click on the checkbox, allow changes by more than one user at the same time. This also allows workbook merging.
- Click on advanced tab, select the options that you want to use for tracking and updating changes, and then click on ok.
- Then, click ok to save, if the file is existing or else type the filename and then click ok.
- If the workbook contains links, verify them and update broken links.
- Click on File > Save.
