the copper bottom of the vessel makes the vessel low heat capacity as copper has low specific heat capacity and it absorbs the heat quickly so it is easy to cook in itand wood is a non conductor of heat means it has high specific heat capacity which helps in holding the hot vessel as it doesn't gain the heat quickly

Answer:
• Copper is better conductors of heat than most metals, the bottoms of cooking vessels are often made of copper.
• The handles of metal cooking vessels are made of insulators like wood, bamboo and Bakelite. This is because these materials heat slowly and so are easy to hold even when the vessel is very hot.
