What is the advantage of using led in testing the electrical conductivity of liquids

because in liquids ,the electricity passes is not too much high to light up a bulb .And an LED has ability to glow even if the current is low .that's why LED is used to test electrical conductivity in liquids.

Because most of the liquid that conduct the electricity are solutions of acid,base and salt. Liquid are not such good conductor of electricity as metal. So, to glow the bulb in less electricity an LED bulb is required.
