in olden days, when there were no roads connecting to villages with towns and cities , these fairs were very useful today the important of village fair has been reduced. it is not like before when people go to the fair for buying the necessary things.
village fairs are very common in India. in almost all parts of the country fairs are held and thousands of people visit there. they have lot of makeshift stalls set up with a variety of items like sweets, the famous mouth watering bondas, pakoda , toys etc.. this all are very attractive things for childrens.
