in resonance xl=xc so we get the relation w=1\lc^-1\2 due to which condition of stable frequency in the circuit and also for increased or decreased impedance at particular frequency

Answer:

(1) A colunmn of soldiers marching in regular step on a

narrow and structuraly flexible bridge can set it

into dangerously large amplitude oscillations. The

bridge may even collapse at the resonance.

2Structural resonance of a suspension bridge

induced by the winds can lead to its catastrophic

collapse. Several early suspension bridges were

EstrOyed Dy strucrural resonance induced by mod-

est winds.

(3) Vibrations of a motor or engine can induce resonant

vibrations in its supporting structures if their natu-

ral frequency is close to that of the vibrations of the

engine. A common example is the rating sound of

a bus body when the engine is left idling.
