both of them have four chambered heart . these chambers or channels help for seperating the deoxygenated blood frm oxygenated blood. as they are multicellular organism they require a rich ammount of oxygenated blood to break down pyruvate and release energy for the chemical process to go on.if these chambers were not there both the blood would get mixed like in pisces or fish they have two chambers heart where some ammount of blood gets mixed.
