With the increase in latitude, there will be a increase in the temperature.

Near the equator which is at a lower latitude, the temperature is very high when compared to the poles which are at a higher latitude.

An increase in latitude means a decrease in temperature as the sunlight is distributed over a large surface due to which the intensity of the sun rays decreases thus the heat too decreases and a decrease in altitude means an increase in temperature as the sun rays will be distributed over a small area due to which the intensity of the sun light increases
