★GIVEN:-

  • NaOH in 25ml

  • Molarity = 1M

  • NaOH molar mass is 40gm/mol

★TO FIND:-

  • Amount

★FORMULA USED:-

Molarity = mass of solute / molar mass of solute × 100

★EXPLANATION:-

Therefore, putting the values:-

⇢ 1 = 1000/25 × w/ 40

⇢ Further solving gives w = 1gm.

So, Amount of NaOH present in 25ml of 1M solution is 1gm.

★MORE TO KNOW:-

  • MOLARITY:- The Number of moles of solute dissolved in 1L (1000ml) of the solution is known as the molarity of the solution.

  • Molarity = mass of solute/ molar madd of solute × 100
