There will be no work done as it is not fulfilling the conditions of work to be done. There is no displacement so there will be no work done

Hey!

__________________

Work done = Force × Displacement

Man is holding a weight of 100 kg for 40 seconds but isn't moving around anywhere, there is no displacement of either the weight or the man, thus displacement = 0

Work done = Force × 0

Work done = 0

Thus, no work is done by the weight lifter.
