Given :

Two vectors :

3a and -5a

To Find :

Angle between the given two vectors =?

Ratio of magnitude of the vectors = ?

Solution:

∴Since the two vectors have opposite signs i.e. one is positive and other is negative , so the angle between them is :

= 180°

Magnitude of one of the vector :

=3a

Magnitude of the other vector ;

= 5a

Ratio:

=\frac{3a}{5a} \\\\= \frac{3}{5} \\=0.6

So the ratio of the magnitude of the two vectors is 0.6
