The angle of elevation in such a case would be 45 degree because we know that tan 45 degree = 1 which would mean that length of shadow and height of pole are equal.

The angle of elevation is 45 degree.
Pole is the perperndicular of triangle & shadow is Base .

Then it will be tan 45 = perpendicular/base

1 = perpendicular /base
Base = Perpendicular

That means length of pole is equal to that of shadow.

We can also obtain it by applying cot 45.
