the earths rotational axis makes an of 66.5 degree with the plane orbit around the sun this means that the earth revolves around the sun  tilted to one side at an angle of 66.5 degree and 23.5  degree from the perpendicular to the elliptical plane ..i hope this helps u....

Earth's axis is tilted by 23.5 degree around it axis of rotation.
So from the plane, angle of inclination = 90 - 23.5 = 66.5 degree
