The earths Axis is tilted by about 23.4 degree. So the angle between axis and plane of orbit is around (90-23.4) = 66.6°

The tilt is the reasom for seasons on earth as at different times in the orbiy, the two hemispheres are at unequal distances from the sun.

Answer:

  • The angle of the Earth is inclined at an angle of 23 ½ 0 to its perpendicular plane.
  • The angle of inclination of the Earth with its orbital plane ( the elliptical path of the Earth around  the Sun) is 66 ½ 0 .
  • And this tilt causes varying length of days and nights and changing seasons.
