The answer is (c).

A magnetic field exerts a force, if the charged particle moving across the magnetic field lines.

Magnetic field exerts no force when the charged particle is along the magnetic field lines.

It is not necessary always that magnetic field will exert force on the charged particle.There should be some kind of relative motion between them usually when the charged particle moved from one place to another in the magnetic field.
