Given: x:92::87:116.

To find: The value of x.

Answer:

Product of extremes = Product of means.

Extremes: x and 116

Means: 92 and 87

Therefore product of means = product of means ⇒ 116x = 92*87

116x = 8004

x = 8004/116

x = 69

Hope it helps :)

Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

___________________________

We have been given:-

x : 92 : : 87 : 116

This means that x : 92 is in the same ratio as 87 : 116

So, we can write it in the form:-

\frac{x}{92} = \frac{87}{116}

Transposing:-

x = \frac{87x92}{116}

x = \frac{8004}{116}

x = 69

So, we can say that 69 : 92 is in the same ratio as 87 : 116

Or

Simply that they are in proportion !

So, 69 is your answer !
