Answer:x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

(a/b)^(x-1)=(b/a)^(x-3)

To find: x=?

Now, (a/b)^(x-1)={1/(a/b)}^(x-3)

Or, (a/b)^(x-1)={(a/b)^(-1)}^(x-3)

Or, (a/b)^(x-1)=(a/b)^(-x+3)

Since base is same on both sides, we have

x-1=-x+3

Or,2x=4

Therefore x=2
