Given:

Total number of students = 100

Number of students who drink tea= 76

Number of students who drink coffee = 54

Number of students who drink both coffee tea = 45

To find:

Number of students who drink neither coffee nor tea

Solution:

We can solve this question using Venn Diagram (attached below).

Number of students who only drink tea (yellow) = Number of students who drink tea - Number of students who drink both coffee tea

= 76 - 45 = 31 students

Similarly, students who drink only coffee (pink) = 54 -45 = 9 students

Number of students who drink neither coffee nor tea = Total number of students - Number of students who drink tea - Number of students who drink both coffee tea - Number of students who drink only coffee

= 100 - 31 - 45 - 9

= 100 - 85

= 15 students.

Hence, 15 students drink neither tea nor coffee.
