Given:

  • Circumstance is 44 cm.

To Find:

  • Area of a circle = ?

Solution:

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

2πr = 44

Or, r = 22/π

Now, area of circle = πr² = π × (22/π)²

So, area of circle = (22×22)/π

= 22 × 7

= 154 cm²

Hence, the area of a circle is 154 cm².
