Given :-

  • A rectangle whose Length = 4m and breadth = 10cm.

 \:

To find :-

  • What is the area of the rectangle.

 \:

Formula Used :-

♣️ Area Of Rectangle Formula :

 \: \pink{ \boxed{ \bf Area _{(Rectangle)} \:  =  \: L × B}}

Where,

  • L = Length
  • B = Breadth

 \:

Solution :-

Given :

  • Length = 4m
  • Breadth = 10cm (Convert cm into m)

Now,

  • Breadth = 0.1m

According to the question by using formula we get,

 \implies \: \bf Area _{(Rectangle)} \:  =  \: L × B

\sf  \implies \: Area _{(Rectangle)} \:  =  \: 4 \times 0.1

 \red{\bf  \implies \:  \underline{ \boxed{\bf Area _{(Rectangle)} \:  =  \: 0.4}}}

∴ Hence, the required area of the rectangle is 0.4m .
