the area of rhombus is d1 d2/2
yes we can find the area for rhombus by the area of triangle
draw the diagonals you will get the two triangle's
by applying the area of triangle for both triangles you will get the area of rhombus

Area of rhombus= 1/2 x (sum of diagonals)

You can find it using triangles but it will be more complicated
