What is the area of a square whose diagonal is 16 cm

diagonal of a square=16cm

and

diagonal of a square=√2×side

so,

√2×side=16

side=16/√2

side=16/√2×√2/√2

side=16√2/2

side=8√2cm

now,
area=(side)²
area=(8√2)²
area=64×2
area=128cm²
