what is the area of square inscribed in a circle of diameter x cm

let each side of the square be a cm
diagonal of the square=diameter of the circle
=>(root 2 )( a)= x
=>root 2 = x/ a
=>2 = x^2/ a^2
=>a^2= x^2/2
now
area of the square
= a^2
= x^2/2 ans

(√2 )( a)= x
√2 = x/ a
2 = x²/ a²
a²= x²/2

Area of the square  = a²
                               = x²/2
