here's ur answer....
first of all cylinder is not a 2d shape, so we can't say area of cylinder.
it have TSA ( surface area) , CSA (lateral surface area) and CSA + 1 base.
and cylinder have volume.
→ TSA of cylinder is = 2πr(h+r)
→ CSA of cylinder is = 2πrh
→ CSA+1base = 2πrh+πr²
→ volume of cylinder = πr²h
if u r asking for the area of the base of cylinder, then the Answer is = πr². as the base of the cylinder is circle.
