FOR THE PERPENDICULAR

2.5²=1.5²+P²

p²=6.25-2.25

p²=4

p=2

AREA OF THE RIGHT ANGLE =1/2×PERPENDICULAR ×BASE

=1/2×2×1.5

=1.5

Answer:

for this triangle AT Pythagoras rule

b^2=h^2-b^2

so b^2=2.5^2-1.5^2

=(25/10)^2-(15/10)^2

=(625/100)-(225/100)

=400/100

=4

so b^2=4

>b=2

hence the area of the right triangle is

1/2×1.5×2

=1.5sq.unit
