Solution : Here we have to find the radius.

• Radius = Diameter 12=12/2=6cm.

We know that

Area of sector of circle

$\frac{0}{360} \times \pi r {}^{2}$

• putting the value of formula

$\frac{60}{360} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 6 {}^{2}$

$= > \frac{1}{6} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 36 \\ = \frac{22 \times 6} {7} \\ = \frac{132} {7} cm {}^{2}$

The area of sector is

$18.86cm {}^{2}$
