what is the area of the shaded region , if the radius of each circle is equal to the side of the hexagon which in turn is equal to 6 cm , and A and B are the centres of the circles???

area of hexagon=3√3a²/2
area=93.53 cm²
area of 2 circles=2×22/7×6×6
=226.28 cm²
area of shaded region=226.28-93.53
=132.75 cm²

area of shaded region = area of hexagon - area of 2 sector
area of hexagon is 3√3÷ a^2
= 3*1.732 ÷ 2 *6*6
= 93.53
the angle is 60° because external angles in a hexagon will be 60°
area of one sector = 60÷360 * π*6*6
= 18.85
area of 2 sector = 2*18.85
= 37.7
area of shaded region = 93.53-37.7
= 55.83
